I’m Claire — founder of SJG Global Consulting, transformation specialist, and someone who’s learned (sometimes the hard way) that the most powerful change happens when we lead with both strategy and soul.

My journey didn’t begin in boardrooms. I grew up in a small town in Nottinghamshire, the youngest of six, raised in a single-parent household. I didn’t go straight to university, and for a long time, I didn’t see people like me in leadership roles. But I climbed, I grafted, and I never gave up. Over 20 years, I’ve led large-scale change across global organisations, transformed cultures, and built people-first strategies that actually work.

But I don’t believe in transformation that’s complicated, exclusive, or full of corporate buzzwords. I believe in simplicity. In clarity. In kindness. I set up SJG Global Consulting to help small to medium-sized businesses cut through the noise — to solve real problems, build conscious leadership, and create change that sticks.

What sets me apart isn’t just the experience (though I’ve got plenty). It’s the lived wisdom. I’ve faced burnout. I’ve rebuilt myself after loss, trauma, and serious health challenges. I’ve learned how to lead with vulnerability, strength, and purpose — and now I help others do the same.
